I'm at work right now...

Yeah, so I'm at work right now, as my title clearly indicates. I have an hour and 45 minutes until I start. I haven't written in a really long time so I figured I would write something.

I broke visiting hours on Monday. lol. My friend Betsy and I went up to 3rd floor (guys side obviously) and we were in my friend Tim's room. I was like, Betsy, Seth (the RA) is going to walk in and see us here. And he did! He was so funny though and we didn't get written up at all.

I've taken 3 tests in the last week, I did okay on them except for Biology. I don't what it is about Biology but I just can't do it. I HATE it! HATE IT! Anyway...I kind of like a guy in my psychology class. His name is Noah and we generally sit next to each other. lol, when we introduced ourselves to each other he was like, hey, my name's Noah, as in the ark. haha, I started laughing. it's like, that's where I've heard that name before! no. really, he's really nice and I think he's cool. And then I've just made friends with a bunch of guys from our brother floor and 3rd floor. That's been really cool too since I'm kind of off of dating guys ever since Nate.

I talked for a really long time yesterday with Rebecca. It was a really nice conversation. I miss my family a lot but I'm happy for the freedom that I have at college.

I really should call you guys sometime and we can talk on the phone. It feels like forever since we talked. I feel like I have so much going on right now. At least the first wave of tests is over.

Ruth: Apocalypse Now is a really good movie, isn't it? We had to watch it in 20 century lit with Ms. Slocum. Wow, that seems so long ago. And don't worry about missing your class. I have some friends who have slept through all of their morning classes. More than once.

haha

that's so funny, not weird at all. I laughed too. mmmpee

Been awhile

I have this buddy who live on 3rd floor. His name is Tim and he's a twin with Tom. And they are roommates. So it's Tim and Tom. Tim's the cooler twin though (not really but I give them a hard time) but they're both really nice. I haven't really seen Tim a lot though recently and I saw Tom on Friday and I was all like, hey! where's Tim, I haven't seen him around. And Tom was like, I know, he was just telling me the other night that he hadn't seen you for awhile. I was like, really? And everyone was like, whoooo, Kelsey! and I'm all like, it's not like that! Because it really isn't. He's just a buddy. really.

Anyway, I went to target last night and I shopped with Alex. How did I do that you ask? Why, by cell phone of course. And then we talked for awhile later on. Mucho divertido.

Haha

Look what email I just got from the security people here at Bethel:

On Saturday, September 10, a female College of Arts & Sciences student was
walking near the Chalberg Residence Hall in the middle of the day when a man on
a bicycle exposed himself to her. Proper officials were notified of the
incident.

Please be aware of this incident and always remember:

?œ Never walk alone during dark.
?œ Never prop open the front doors of residence halls or allow strangers into
your residence hall.
?œ Should you see any suspicious activity, please get a description of the
suspect, and call 911 and the Office of Security and Safety immediately at ext.
6055.

Haha! can you imagine? I probably would have laughed at the guy. after gasping of course.

Probably shouldn't have gone to bed at 2 last night. I'm super tired right now. At least I don't have a billion classes today.

New search

horny back toad meaning

This totally describes me right now

[Chorus]
I gotta shake it off
Cause the loving ain't the same
And you keep on playing games
Like you know I'm here to stay
I gotta shake, shake it off
Just like the Calgon commercial
I really gotta get up outta here
And go somewhere
I gotta shake it off
Gotta make that move
Find somebody who
Appreciates all the love I give
Boy I gotta shake, shake it off
Gotta do what's best for me
Baby and that means I gotta
Shake it off

Well, it was Nate's last day working yesterday. He was saying goodbye to everyone and then he came up to me and shook my hand. I just kind of stared at him and shook my head. He's so weird! I will never understand him, I don't even know if I'll ever see him again. I guess this is just another learning experience for me that I cannot choose guys. I feel stupid.

mysterious
You have a mysterious kiss. Your partner never
knows what you're going to come up with next;
this creates great excitement and arousal never
knowing what to expect. And it's sure to end
in a kiss as great as your mystery.

What kind of kiss are you?

Hey you guys, I don't know if you guys go here or not or if I've shown this link to you at all but I really like this girl's comics. Her name is Jin and all her stuff is pretty funny/entertaining...anyway, I'm just kinda posting this to let you guys know about her since she kind of needs support (not necessarily a monetary way) anyway. Here's the link, just go read her stuff, it's funny.

I spent two hours last night reading the first chapter in my Psychology book and then taking and retaking the stupid reading check quiz. (You can take it multiple times) I finally finished at 1:00 in the morning. Now, this morning, I check Blackboard (kinda like a powerschool with chat capabilities) and my Professor has posted an announcement that the due date for the quiz has been postponed from today to Friday! ARG! At least I have it done but MAN! Irritation!

Forgive me for saying this but there are many textbooks in this world that I would like to run over with a lawn mower.

Off to class!

Ruth, I really feel for you. I understand what you're saying and I agree with you completely. There's something about going off to college and being free of parents that just triggers something in some people's mind to make them act like idiots and turn their backs on how they were brought up. (if they were brought up in that way) I can't say that there is a bunch of swearing and weed and stuff here because I haven't personally seen it but I do know that there are a lot of hypocrites here, even myself on some level. It's hard going to a Christian college and having to live up to that standard. It's like everyone is looking at you expecting you to be perfect while at the same time, not being perfect themselves. I don't know, it's also really nice too, because all of my friends that I've met haven't been like that but I do know that it's out there. This must sound really confusing and probably not what you what to here. But I just wanted you to know that I feel for you and I understand what you're saying.

Laundry is done! I woke up today at 11:30, watched a movie in the dark and had a smoothie for breakfast/lunch at like, 2. I'm also still in my PJs and I love it! My face is even more swollen than yesterday which is just dandy. Talk to ya'll later!

Alex, you just had your wisdom teeth removed too?

More Pain, and face swelling

So, I got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday at 3 and I woke up at 2:30 this morning in so much pain. I took another Vicodin and went and watched Kim Possible till 6 this morning, then went back to bed till 7:30. I asked one of the kitchen ladies if I could have some oatmeal because of my teeth and she was super nice and got me some. Then, while I was eating, the exec chef came out and told me that she heard I had gotten my wisdom teeth out and that if I needed anything to just let her know. I was really touched. My face has swollen up some, more on the right side than on the left. I can't really smile or laugh or talk all that well but I'm smiling on the inside! :) I'm going to classes today too. we'll see how that goes. ta ta!
